Featured in this photo is a couple commuting on a moped in Shanghai’s Tilanqiao Residential District. This photo has to be one of my favourites of all time. This image embraces a whole story. It’s all in the details. And, I wouldn’t even know where to begin – the woman’s shoes, the position of her foor, her demeanour, her look, the guy’s flying hair, his demeanour and his intent, not to mention the surroundings and all the movement. There’s also enough in this image to say this is Shanghai. You’re not going to find scenes like this anywhere else in the world.
All prints offered for sale from this site are paper based. The prints are made using the Lambda C printing process, a process whereby a digital image is projected onto some form of chromogenic photo-sensitive media via three [RGB] laser beams. The media is then run through a wet chemical process to render the final print. We offer either a matt or glossy photo finish. Each print has a 1 centimetre white boarder around it. We do not offer framing or mounting.
At this time we do not offer prints using ink-jet printing technologies. Simply put, our digital workflow has been optimised to use Lambda C printing process technologies. Our printers use Fuji’s Photo Crystal papers. By archival standards, Fuji papers are on par with the best art papers used to make ink-jet prints. While we do not usually sign our prints, each print comes with its own signed Certificate of Authenticity.
PLEASE NOTE: The image featured here is a low-res JPEG image suitable only for preview and reference purposes. Given your monitor’s capabilities and any limitations your web browser may impose, this image is, at best, a sample. The image as a print is likely to be far richer and the colours much deeper than what we can present here.
